We won and that's great 6-0 on the road. But think about it, we scored 78 pts. and we missed 15 fts 2 dunks and I lost count of how many layups we missed and we turned it over 19 times. How many pts would we have scored if we hit atleast half of those missed ft's and the layups and dunks and cut the TO total in half. I'm not saying we would have hit all the shots but you can't score if you don't even get a shot off. We could have easily reached 100 pts. plus and won by 35 or 40. I'm just glad we were playing Fordham. We play like this against Xavier, Dayton,Temple or anyone else for that matter we will get our butts kicked.

Agreed. Some of the missed layups were contested, as was one of he missed dunks. But, they did represent several missed opportunities. Offense seemed to have a hard time getting into a flow, as well. Perhaps the 3 assists and 11 turnovers from the point guards had something to do with it. But, all-in-all, baby steps, and a win in the A-10 opener. Congrats to Coach Schmidt and the Bonnies.

30-45 from the line. Pathetic.

Ok...I've got to take issue with some of the points in this string of posts. While I certainly agree with Bonaman45 regarding the missed opportunities, I tend to look at it the other way. It's a great sign that we have a team capable of winning a road conference game(I know it was Fordham, but we've had a lot of trouble winning there through the years) by 13 points despite all of the missed opportunities. With regard to the free throws, 67% is not Pathetic. It's not great, but it's not Pathetic. In fact, it's better than the 65% they were averaging coming into the game. I'd love for this team to be better from the line- but we're not. I guess I'm just saying that the FT shooting was about what we can expect. I'm going to focus on the fact that the team is off to a 10-4 start and try to keep my expectations modest. I'll be happy if we get to AC this year and I think we will. Go Bonas!
