Many factors contributed to this loss. Mostly on the defensive side but credit the Dukes for hitting stuff even when well guarded. Obviously giving up 98 points does not fall solely on Grease who at 6’9” had to guard a fast 6’5” Clark who fires up the most treys on a squad that relies heavily on the 3ball as evidenced by 42% of their shots for the season being treys. Not only does he throw up the most he hits them at a .370 rate. His 4-7 from beyond the arc was not a deciding factor. Dukes go small with incredible speed & score lots against most teams. Get ready for St Joe’s.

I agree with the comments about needing a leader. When this was a 7 to 9 point game, there was no one on the floor getting the team going. They looked beat already. I really though this would fall to Matthews and Eleby, but apparently not. Someone needs to take control of this team on the floor and keep them going, even when they are down.

First off, I think the Bonnies are headed in the right direction. It's just going to take longer than I thought. I think some of the responsibility for the loss to the Dukes falls on the coaches. Obviously, nothing was learned from the Niagara game. The Bonnies don't match up well enough to play "man" against these teams. It was pointed out on the Dukes board that they have struggled against zones, their zone offense being suspect. Throw some different looks (zones) at them. Boy, do the Bonnies need guard play!

We have C/C+ A-10 point guards. So you think they're average A-10 point guards? I think you're overrating them. This position is the weakest on the team and we have an average A-10 team at best.
