Found this link to a belated conference outlook on the A-10 board this morning. It's admittedly from a "biased" Dayton blog but I'm sure this will infuriate many of you as it did me so that's why I'm posting it.

Bona's excerpt: 12. St. Bonaventure The Bonnies once again fight common sense and field a basketball team. Didn't the NCAA disband the program once they found out that the only requirements to play ball for the Bonnies was a welders license and an anger management problem? I almost respect the stubbornness. Here is all you need to know about Bonaventure, they finished 8-22 last season and their three best players have graduated. In typical St. Bonaventure fashion, almost the entire team is made up of transfers and JUCOs, which means they will be long gone by the time the NCAA unravels whatever clusterfuck the Bonnies are currently cooking up.

Here is what I wonder, if you are a SBU fan, do you actively check up on the team's performance throughout the season, or wait until like May or June to see what the team did? I would do it every year on April 15th, tax day. It would serve as a reminder. My taxes are due and I check to see what the Bonnies did last season. Let's see, says here that they went 3-28 and their leading scorer had a clubbed foot. Cool.

If you occasion to visit the A-10 board, you'll see the Dayton fans trash talking XAVIER, which makes the blog almost comical. They are the trash talking kings of the A-10 with nothing to show for it.

I know I shouldn't let this idiot get to me but this really got me heated. He doesn't mention anything of our record this season but of course he says our record last season was 8-22. And one of the posters on the blog trashed the value of a St. Bonaventure degree. Are these people serious??

Take a chill pill, bonasfan. It's known throughout the conference that Dayton has some of the most obnoxious, clueless and classless fans. If it were up to them the league would only consist of them and Xavier, they would play eachother 16 times a year and Dayton would be A-10 champ regardless of the outcome.

Screw Dayton, here's to hoping Fordham can get it together on Wednesday!

The blog's heading says it all "uneducated guesses and uninformed opinions." He proves this heading accuracy by leaving Andrew Nicholson off his A-10 freshman team. To help educate and inform anyone that visits this site, Nicholson leads A-10 freshmen in winning 4 "Rookie of the Weeks." He dominates the stats among A-10 freshmen, but more impressively he is among the nation leaders in blocks and field goal percentage. Nationally Andrew is 5th in block shots and 12th in field goal percentage. For both stats he leads all freshmen in the country. Have to wonder why anyone would want to visit this site and even worse want to leave a response.
