Fellow Bonnies fans,
As a contributor for College Chalktalk, I should advise you all that the CCT Players of the Week and the actual Atlantic 10 Players of the week are two entirely separate things.
The Atlantic 10 names their own players of the week on Sunday morning, while CCT names their players of the week on Monday morning, after all the week's games have been played. Sometimes the two hand out awards to the same players, but sometimes they are different....

Copenhagen,
The reason that CCT doesn't award a Rookie of the Week award is because at times it can become too redundant. It seems the same four or five players can win the award week after week. In trying to be a little bit different from the Atlantic 10 in our awards, we thought it would be best to let them hand out this honor and we would stick to the player of the week and some of our own ideas.
Being a Bonaventure guy, if we had the award, I would obviously be pushing for Andrew to win it each week. So I am sure my coworkers are glad we don't have it for that reason alone...
