and that's putting it lightly. he's a pathetic excuse for a point guard. he should permanently ride pine for the remainder of the season, and then hopefully he'll transfer.

the team needs to live and die with Blackburn as the starting pg once he returns. Eleby needs to be demoted to the last resort at pg, behind the walk-ons.

How can you not like Eleby! Just joking! How in the hell is he allowed the chance to try and tie the game with four seconds left! It just capped a lousy night by the turnover machine. And I also don't like our guards whom don't play any defense. They made Fontan look like an All-American. A pathetic loss. The Bonnies will probably make the A-10 tournament. But this loss STINKS!

Eleby needs to go bye bye. Doesn;t he want to be closer to home in Philly? He has to miss it a little bit

Yeah and did anyone notice that he just ran off the court last night and didn't shake hands or anything. He is a baby! He was on the bench pouting too. Why Schmidt even put him in for the most crucial part of the game is beyond me! I mean anyone else ...Matthews, Nicholson, Thomas...let them take the last shot. Not only that...but he missed a freakin lay-up!!

How in the hell is he allowed the chance to try and tie the game with four seconds left! You don't think it was an accident that Fordham allowed him to easily get the inbounds pass and run unimpeded to take the last shot, do you? If I was the opposing coach, that's the defense I would have called. In fact, I would never guard him. I'd play 5 on 4 and let Eleby do his best to beat us.

yeah and to think eleby caused matthews to go 4-15 last night too. let's be real. nobody is playing well. weak defense, no hustle.

Matthews as a pg >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Eleby as a pg. and actually, Nicholson and Thomas were both playing well until Schmidt inexplicably decided to bench them in the 2nd half.

you guys are just annoying. So he had a bad game, is it really worth calling for his head? Can you imagine the pressure thats on him, being the only true point guard available during Atlantic Ten play? Maybe at this point he is not playing near the level he needs to, but you guys commenting from the outside wouldn't know the intangibles that this kid provides to the team, on and off the court. How could you put MORE blame on Eleby's missed lay up (which is not exactly easy from that angle) then you do Matthews letting them bounce the ball off his back on the inbounds play... AGAIN. Just sayin...

It's not like he's a deer in the headlights freshman trying to get used to the A-10 pace. What are you his boyfriend?

the one thing that concerns me is that it certainly is taking him a long time to develop... And the real scary part is that he didn't even dominate against a weak non-conf schedule. He's in trouble if we get a real pg in here

No not quite, i'm just not stupid enough to try and communicate to a basketball player through a message board that they should transfer. He's only a sophomore and probably shouldn't be starting, but who should be ahead of him at this point without Blackburn? You could make a case for Matthews, but then you have to go down the line and wonder who would start for Matthews?

I want really calling for him to transfer through a message board. I am sure hes a good kid who supposedly works hard. But I was angry. Hes not getting better. He is regressing. He looks worse than he did 2 weeks ago, a month ago or even a year ago. He is terrible and you cannot watch a game and tell me he is a talented pg.
