Nice win for the women last night. Now 4-1 in the conference and have the 2nd highest RPI of any of the A-10 teams at 56.

Kudo's to the womens program, at least they are bringing some dignity to the basketball programs at Bona's. Maybe it is about time to focus more on the womens program for the remainder of the 09' season and follow the men's recruiting excitement. After last nights debacle for the men's team it appears recruiting is the only excitement left for that program.

Are you kidding me MM77? The season is a success. Let's face it all of us here were all hoping for a double digit win total this year and we got it. No one on here was expecting us to be above .500 so we have made the necessary improvements. Next year with this current core playing a year together and then with the addition of the red-shirts this team will live up to expectations again next year.

By no stretch would I call this season a success, but I would say the team has vastly improved over last season and the Solomon era. Losing to 2-15 Fordham at home, and blowing the Canisius lead hardly would qualify this season as a success. I realize it is a bumpy road to being a competitive division one program, but those were huge bumps that could be overcome in time. I support the team as much as anyone on this board, and follow every game faithfully and have never given up on the big picture with this program. Recuiting is the only realistic adjustment that would give me more hope for this team, hence; that is more exciting at this juncture of the programs turn around.

I still agree in a way with MM77, there should be more excitement for the women's team. While we can debate all day if the men have been a success or not, the women CLEARLY have been. Well done ladies!
