After a horrific loss to Fordham at home I can understand Bona fans being upset. Quickly checking the schedule I see 3 or 4 more wins down the stretch. The bottom 3 teams in the conference (Charlotte, GW, Fordham) are so bad I think we can reasonably say the "Brown Indians" will be playing in March, in Atlantic City! Can we agree 5-6 wins will get this team to the conference playoffs? If the Bona fans were promised this wouldn't we be happy with the progress of the program and with Coach Schmidt? Speaking for this fan I will respond with a resounding "YES"! After we get to Atlantic City I would like to see a win or at least a very well played game with maximum effort by all players and coaches. I guess being an eternal optimist, like myself, will always carry me through these gut-wrenching losses. I still believe in Coach Schmidt and the "Bonnies". Now is the time to really support our team and cheer them all the way to Atlantic City. Let the "nay-sayers" jump off this bandwagon now. There is no room on board for you anymore. LET'S GO BONAS!!!!!

I believe we will make the tourney as well but really feel it will come down to the Charlotte game. Watched St.Louis almost beat Dayton last night , similar to Fordham almost beating the Flyers as well. St.Louis is going to be tough for us, they play in your face defense and make you work for every shot. 4 wins could get us in , but realistically 5 is the magic number. Getting Ray back can only help. The statement "we will win some we shouldnt, and lose some shouldn't " sure is playing out with this team. Lets hope we have at least 3 more in us down the stretch.

We will make the A-10's with the pg play of Ray Blackburn and at times Chris Matthews. Malcolm Eleby can only be only played a few minutes here and there, he can't be trusted in the stretch run. I would go with a lineup of Ray, Matthews, Hall, Thomas, Nicholson with Davenport replacing the guards and carter replacing the big men from time to time.

i agree that the Bonnies will manage to qualify for the A-10 tournament. the loss to Fordham is a major bummer though, a win could've almost secured a trip to Atlantic City- they would've had a 3 game cushion on Fordham and GW.

very proud of this team. even with a loss duquesne looked like the weaker team.
at this point i don't care about the record.
get me to ac. and we'll go from there.

We're fine to make the A-10's. Fordham just got absolutely whooped by St. Louis, which makes us look bad, but still, they are horrible. We should be able to pull out at least one, maybe two v. Charlotte, LaSalle, UMass, or St. Louis at home. Even if we only end up with 4 wins, I don't see GW or Fordham possibly getting even 3. I would say that a win here v. Charlotte OR at GW will be good enough to get us in. Does anyone know what the tiebreaker is with Fordham if we end up with the same record and the season series was split?

If the Bonnies and Rams tie and all the tie breakers do not decide, then both teams would engage in a "play-in" game at AC the day before the tounament.

with each loss, the trip to Atlantic City becomes more and more in jeopardy. i still believe they'll qualify, but why does making the A-10 tournament have to be so elusive?! 5 of the 8 remaining games are winnable (vs LaSalle, vs UMass, @ GW, vs St Louis, and the finale vs Charlotte). all they have to do is win 2 of those games.
