Only a few years over due, provided the powers that be didn't see it fit to promote her to another position.

However, I've still seen her around the Reilly Center on game days so I'm afraid she may still be around. It totally baffles me that any of those folks around during the scandal still work at SBU. Totally stunning.

It totally baffles me that any of those folks around during the scandal still work at SBU. Totally stunning. I don't think that's fair. Keep in mind that when the President of the University trumped her decision, and ordered Jamil to be declared eligible, she asked to be re-assigned within the athletic department. She saw what they were doing was wrong... and refused to go along with it. Now, it's easy to say "well, she should have quit/told the NCAA" etc. But put yourself in her shoes. She's got a family, she lives there. I don't know what her family does, but her husband probably has a job in town. What else do you do if you're in her shoes? You blow the whistle, you get fired. You go through with the order and participate in the scandal, you're probably fired after the NCAA catches wind of it and your career is toast. She did the only thing she could do for her job, her career, and her family (and how do we know she wasn't the one who broke the news to the NCAA anyway?) She has a job because she had the moral compass to wash her hands of it and demand to be reassigned rather than break the rules. She shouldn't be associated with VBK and Wick in all this.
