I used to have a shirt that said "Badgers, We don't need no stinking Badgers" and the old school Bonnies "B" emblazing the middle.

C'Mon how is the thread getting no love. We are in the Third Round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament. The Bona Women are on pace to make history. Yet again raising the bar for Bona athletics and no one wants to chat it up. Seriously??? 10 Years ago they didn't have even women's teams to make a field of 64. If we win we can and Mississippi wins we can avenge the 1982 loss. Let's kick the Badgers in their freaking heads!!!!!!!!

There isn't any juicy drama or controversy behind the women's team so there isn't much to talk about until the ball is tipped. This next game will be incredibly interesting because the Badgers play such a similar style of play. This will most likely be an ugly game but there's no reason why we shouldn't win this either. In fact, there isn't really a team in this NIT that we couldn't compete with and push to the very end. A big game by Murray really opens up our offense and allows players like Snake or Dana to drive effectively. I hope for the best and I'll be listening in come Thursday, disappointed that the game couldn't be here.

Yesterday, there was a game preview article on gobadgers.com, but today it's gone.
In the article, it stated that Wisconsin was guaranteed the next home game if they beat St. Bonaventure.
Maybe they took the article down to avoid 'bulletin board' material.
So even if they do win, how can they get THREE home games in a row ?? That's outrageous !

Yes she is maplehurst.
Megan's from Oostburg/Sheboygan Falls area, about two hours away from Madison.
Gotta hope her family and friends can attend and cheer on the Bonnies!

Isn't Van Tatenhove from Wisconsin? I like her game and development this year, next season we will have quite a pair of "bookend forwards" with her & D.Mitchell! She could also take over from Dana as the go to scorer once Dana graduates .....she appears to have All A10 potential.

I believe if we do defeat Wisconsin, we will host the Mississippi-South Florida winner, which is taking place tonight in Florida at 7 p.m.
That game would either be Sunday or Monday. I'm hoping it's either late afternoon Sunday (like 5 p.m.) or on Monday night.

Do the women have two tournaments like the men (NCAA and NIT) or is the NIT the version of the big dance for the women?
