I trust that no one will curtail the right of a free assembly in the RC on Sunday, even if it is not done in a peaceful manner.
Go Bonnies!

Yes - I just got mine at about 5:00, and the lady said they had surpassed the last game already.

That is excelent! Everyone should be really talking this game up and getting friends and family and supporters to make the trip. Channel 2 news in Buffalo just did a really nice story about the women and even showed highlights from the game last night. Yes, they are not the mens team but they are in the national spotlight right now and DESERVE the support, lets pack this place in!! Lets help this team make the FINAL 4!!!
GO BONNIES!!!!!

Yes the WNIT is a national tournament and they are still in it, just fyi, hence making them in a national spotlight

Boy, I don't think I've agreed with Clubhouse more than a couple times, but I do here.
I'm really happy for the women's team and will be rooting for them to win the tourney, but this round of the WNIT is far from being in the national spotlight. If you asked 1,000 random people on the street to name a couple schools that remain alive in the WNIT, I wouldn't be surprised if none of them could do it. The WNIT hasn't been on TV and the newspapers simply don't cover it unless there is a local team playing.
Nonetheless, this is a great stride forward for the team. Hopefully it will help them in recruiting great players and get them into the big dance in the years to come.
I'm now off to see Villanova battle Pitt in an elite eight game in the Garden. That game is in the national spotlight. Hopefully the Bonnies can get there again soon!

God does anything excite you people??? Couldn't agree more with sneakers post. You can be excited for the WNIT all you want, but to say this is the national spotlight is delusional. The mens NIT barely garners any attention but you think the WNIT is in the national spotlight? Wow.

God does anything excite you people??? It isn't a matter of not being excited for the university, but some of these posts are jaw-dropping. No negative can be taken from the run Crowley's squad has made, but to suggest they're in the "national spotlight" or to call this the "WNIT Elite 8" is pushing it. There is only one Elite 8, and it takes place in the NCAA Tournament. These are called quarterfinals.
