Congrats Coach Baron, certainly an honor well deserved. Not only did he embody the Bonaventure spirit as a student athlete, he helped right the ship after the Chapman disaster, bringing Bona basketball back to respectability.

I also attended the ceremony. Very well done. Sr Margaret, Essie Hollis, Jimmy Baron (son), Steve Watson, Jim Englehardt all spoke. Jimmy really did a great job talking about his Dad.
Lots of former players & coaches were there. Larry Weise, Joe Lombardi, Brian Nash, David Vanterpool, Rob Lanier, Glenn Hagen, Roger Bauer, Pat Clarke, and many others.
I am sitting in the Shay-Louglen lounge, using wireless to connect into the network. A terrific reunion weekend.

fjs64...Glad the weather cooperated for what I hear was a great reunion weekend & that a busload went to Ho-Sta-Geh for eats & drinks. Besides the great views it is owned by a Bona grad. Was Coach Schmidt at the JB ceremony?

Coach Schmidt was at the ceremony. He was talking to a few alumni when I walked in. Even Father Dan was there. I understand that the Mass after the ceremony, Father Dan tied in the Baron ceremony with mass and I was told how emotional it was. Father Dan, was a classmate of mine, and it was good seeing him again.
