This is a poll of the top 25 mid major schools in the country. I think we could schedule most of the teams on this poll and receive a home and home with the opponent. www.collegeinsider.com/mmpoll/

Yes this certainly is an interesting poll. Bonas has played against approximately 40% of those teams on the list either on a regular basis or once in a blue moon.
Interestingly enough at the bottom of the poll lists the conferences included. The A-10 isn't one of those conferences listed. I wonder why?
The point is I am certain we can have a very legitimate schedule, one one one basis, with most of these teams.

The point is I am certain we can have a very legitimate schedule, one one one basis, with most of these teams. Conferences like the A-10 and Conference USA (and probably one or two others) seem to sit in-between the "BCS" conferences and the mid-major conferences. The A-10 and Conference USA have teams that can compete year-in and year-out in basketball with the "high-major" BCS conferences. Accordingly, the A-10 ends up not being included in the "mid-major" discussions. I, for one, am more than ok with that.
