Is this year and next going to be one of the deeper teams we have had in years? This is based on Rosenbro coming
This year... PG- Eleby/Ogo SG- Matthews/Leonard/Conger/Davenport SF- Hall/Leonard/Simmons/Conger/Davenport PF- Rosenbro/Simmons/Cook/House C- Nicholson/Rosenbro/Cook/House
Next year
PG- Eleby/Ogo SG- Leonard/Conger/Davenport/Sheehey (hopefully)/Agee SF- McGloster/Leonard/Simmons/Conger/Davenport/Sheehey (hopefully) PF- Rosenbro/McGloster/Simmons/Cook/House C-Nicholson/Rosenbro/McGloster/Simmons/Cook/House
I would have to think this one of our deepest programs since 2001/2002.

I'd move Davenport up the depth chart. I'm thinking he could be the first guy off the bench this season.

B02 I think you really underestimate Ogo - he will be the starter at PG with Eleby providing quality veteran backup. it seemed Eleby caught a bit of his niche last year when he finally abandoned any outside shooting but was more aggressive taking it to the hole and creating some nice buckets

I assume he will be the starting PG i was just giving Eleby the title although I think Ogo will get the most minutes.

This years teams has some interesting scenarios developing. Im sure this will shock you BO2 as well as some others but all summer when talking with the coaches (Schmidt on more than a couple occassions) , Jake was actually in the running for the starting 4 spot. He is head and shoulders better than Cook(he wont get off the bench much) and has improved his strength considerably since his days at OHS. With the arrival of Roseboro who should start it will give coach the luxury of using him for Andrew or Roseboro. A coach recently stated that Jake has the offensive skills of Brett, but the Roseboro kid is tougher and better defensively. I would think that 10-18 mins/game if not more for House......... I

I'd move Davenport up the depth chart. I'm thinking he could be the first guy off the bench this season. If last year's Fordham game in the Bronx is any indication (3 offensive rebounds off missed free throws within a couple of minutes as the game was winding down), and with some of his performances during the season, this kid is the real thing. He is athletic, quick, good defensively and will be able to shoot.......he will probably be a 6th or 7th man.....any other thoughts.

I agree Fjs. I think Davenport will average 25-30 mins a game. He has all of the tools and athleticism to play at this level. If he continues to make progress with his 3 point shot, he could be an all league performer by the time his career is over.
