Trying to get a read on how many 1982 - 1987 grads are going to be at the Redmen - Brown Indians tilt in Rochester. Hopefully Mark Jones, Eric Stover, Rob Samuels, Sheehey and Norman Clarke will be in Rochester to party like its 1999. Looks like John "Bronxie" Gangi is a lock. Joe "Born in the USA" Saxton is in. Alvin Lott is in. No word yet from Ray the Rat. Sweet Lou from the Hickey is renting a bus from Blue Bird for a round trip.
Trying to get a reduced rate at the Hi-Way Rest motel on Empire Blvd in Webster (free cable and also a deal w/ Empire Bowling Lanes -- dime wings for parties of 10 or more and $2.00 Genny Pounders). The bartender from across the street tells me he's got an old flatbed Ford that can ferry everybody to and from the game and make stops at any bars along the way. That's George and he attended Bona for a year in the mid 70s before failing out.
How convenient is that? Let me know who else is in so I can confirm the motel in Webster.

Why would you want to get a hotel in Webster? That is going to be about a 20 minute drive from downtown. Try either the Clarion or the Hyatt, which are within walking distance or even the Strathallan on East Ave.

Well, for starters, there's no downtown equivalent to the Bayside Pub out near the lake. Then you've got the Union Hill Country Grill right there to party at where the neighborhood girls are in the back you-know-what-I'm-talkin'-about!). After that you can hit Lucky's Sports Club where this guy Dave "Wiggles" McCoy drank 30 O.V. splits during a blizzard in '84. And plus the dude across the road from the motel said he'd drive everybody who needed a ride to the game in the back of his pick-up. No worries about D.U.I., very responsible. Plus alot of guys are hooking up with the dude from Rodmaster Charters for an early morning salmon run out on the lake. We're going to ask Fr. Dan if he wants to come, maybe say Mass out on the lake but they're gonna have to cut off those dual 250 Mercs during the homily 'cuz those things haul, jack!

He said he would take everyone TO the game, what about back afterward? That could present a small problem ... I suppose, but I thought that's what "after hours" parties were for!
