Agree JeremyD. The fact that he had misdeeds as a student athlete & dealt with them the way he did is a plus in dealing with current players. They are far more apt to take heed to Tyler’s advice than a choir boy personality. He is a perfect fit for the role they have placed him in. Another wise decision by Mark.

i couldnt agree more...advice-more apt to be taken more seriously from someone who went through trouble and learned.........and i also agree-another wise decision by coach schmidt..at camps the last couple summers i have attended you could easily see tyler doing something like this by the way he handled himself around the kids and his teammates...
