First of all, I would take Bonas over any school if there was a 2 on 2 hoops competition limited to ADs and Head Coaches - Steve W and Coach are tall.
Probably the biggest crowd they have had at the luncheon in the last five years - including Glenn Hagan who was recognized by the speakers and looks the same as he did 30 years ago.
Coach said that Mike Davenport is the "star" of the preseason - working hard on his game. He also spoke highly of the maturity and work ethic of Olgo, who is the one pulling Mike out of bed at 6 am to go do drills. Regarding both House and Nicholson, both have gained weight (House is up 40 lbs) and strength. Looking for scoring punch from Leonard, and an improved jumper from Hall. Also said that Congor and Simmons are still works in progress. Did not say much about Rosenboro (sorry for all the misspellings of names, if any)
They also discussed briefly the scheduling conflicts that they have as the program improves. Traveling to Olean, is hard, but being assured a win made it worthwhile for some programs. Now that we are improving, the benefit is disappearing for some programs - leading to the need of Rochester/Buffalo games. Nothing new in that statement - just supporting what others have said here.

dadster81....Thanks for your comments on the Rochester gathering. Not surprised to hear how well Davenport is playing. He had an extremely solid freshman season (loved his 3 offensive boards which was critical at the end of the Ram game at Rose Hill) & would have played more if he caught on faster to plays & defensive schemes. Surprised that Roseboro was not highlighted since it has been reported how well he is doing & he is the latest addition.
The 40 pound gain by House is significant. I wonder how he will handle the additional weight in terms of running the floor, which is an area he struggled with. Judging by the coach’s comments on Simmons & Conger it sounds they will not get much playing time. However at this early stage it is very difficult to predict the level of player contributions. No doubt player combinations & minutes will change over the first third of the season.
Glad to hear how well it was attended.

a couple of more comments from today
Coach mentioned how studious and serious Olgo was - he said that most foreign players see education as a priveledge, while many American players see it as a right.
He also joked that they were trying to schedule Binghamton 9 times this year.
Re House, he said the big thing for him will be having confidence on the court, and did not know if that would happen this year.
