I went. The coach did speak and he said that he thought that they had a "pretty tough schedule" he said people ask him how many games he thinks we will win this year and he said he doesn't like to make predictions on how many games they will win, but that they will play hard and compete every game. I think Ho Mac looked a little bigger than I thought he was. Andrew and Brett look to be the same size. It was a nice dinner and it nice to see the players, can't wait for the season to start.

Wished I could have attended the KofC pasta dinner to meet the players. Heard the players really enjoyed themselves. Congratulations to the 25 schools recognized as well as the over 100 mentioned on their “Honor Roll” (Temple is one). The fact that Bona did not meet the criteria devised for this recognition is no surprise but should not reflect poorly on the significant impact Bona has on the local community. Almost every school cited is far greater in size and resources than Bona & located in cities far larger than 16,000. The per capita economic impact on the greater Olean area by Bona is significant. The involvement by Bona students in a myriad of social involvement initiatives local and national is to be commended. Sometimes the issue of rowdy students relieving themselves on the way back to campus from the Allegany watering holes gets more local focus at the expense of all the good works.
