Not sure if anyone heard Phil Martelli this afternoon, but he mentioned Andrew as someone who can definitely play in the NBA and suggested that he could be the face of the A10 before his career is over at Bonaventure. Very high praise from one of the more successful college coaches in the country. Schmidt has also made comparisons to David West who was a Player of the Year in his Senior campaign. I have rethought my win total to 21, with a .500 record in the league. I believe he will be the most significant player to wear the uniform since Essie Hollis and will give plenty of opponents alot to handle. Also, the consensus of many coaches in the league is the difficulty in scheduling out of conference, particularly home games so it is not just an Olean thing. If any conference needs a conference challenge it is the A10. Will never happen but a Big East matchup would generate plenty of interest and TV games.

I for one would love to see a A-10 - MVC match up. I think a network like versus would jump to televise such an event.

If any conference needs a conference challenge it is the A10. Would love to see an A10 v CUSA match up. Based on last year's conference finishes here would be the match ups... 1. Xavier - Memphis 2. URI - Tulsa 3. Dayton - UAB 4. Temple - UTEP 5. St. Joe's - Houston 6. Richmond - UCF 7. Duquesne - Marshall 8. LaSalle - Tulane 9. St. Louis - East Carolina 10. UMASS - Rice 11. SBU - Southern Miss 12. Charlotte - SMU Since CUSA only has twelve members...

I would love to see a higher rated conference, but the MVC would work well for both.

The MVC may not have the sexy names, but they're definitely highly regarded.

I would go for that. I guess the Big 10, Big 12, SEC, ACC, or Big East would not be interested?
