The purpose of the scrimmage is not to win. Coaches use this type of game to evaluate execution of the offenses and defenses. This troubling thing to me is that the execution was poor and none of the "new" guys seperated themselves in any positive way. Hopefully coach gets the problems solved after this week's exhibition and the guys are ready for Cleve. St.
