"We shouldn't be 11th,'' Nicholson said. "We'll definitely show them.''
I love it! Thanks for the post bonafan.

There are many remarkable things about Andrew. I think the most remarkable is that he has put up the numbers he has as a Div I freshman with having previously played organized ball for only 2 years. That's absolutely amazing. Lets hope we can get him the ball tonight & that he can hit the open man when doubled up. Pogue & company will have him in their sights.

GoBonnies had it up yesterday, and it's an exciting thing. No disrespect to College Chalktalk or the Bonnies Basketball Blog, but to get noticed by SI is incredibly exciting. Nice to finally find a more national spotlight on the school to catch more eyes. Hopefully after we win tonight there will be even more attention directed our way.

Not trying to minimize this in any way, but it's technically an AP story, not a Sports Illustrated story. It was written by western NY-based John Wawrow, who works at the AP based out of Buffalo, and SI picked up the article on the AP wire.
With that being said, anything with "St. Bonaventure" to appear in any medium of SI not associated with 2003 is a great, great thing. Hopefully this continues.

I figured as much, but it was listed on front page of si.com college basketball when I saw it so just as good.....never for a a second assumed it is in print edition or actually written by an SI writer.

Good read from JW. Hoping the Bonnies will continue to give him more reasons to make the trek south this season.
