Matthews foul put the game winning two free throws on the line. We had the lead with 11 secs left then he fouled with six left.....
Heartbreaking loss.

I am sure if they had time they would have taken it to the rim... shooting a 23' tells me that was close as they could with the time left. Andrew is an absolute stud, came through in the clutch and carried the team in the 2nd half. Malcolm Eleby continues to break our heart and Chris Matthews continued his disappearing act

someone who was listening please explain why matthews committed a foul with .06 left, up 1 - was there a good reason, like stopping an sure-thing lay-up or something??

Eleby got picked toward midcourt. Had to foul or give up an easy layup.
Absolutely heartbreaking.

Tough loss. Although we shot ourselves in the foot at crucial times, there was a lot to like. St John's is a good basketball team.
