Even with SJU missing 2 of their key players they still had 5 players starting their 3rd year in SJU uniforms, BONNIES have 1 (ELEBY). SBU is still young and getting used to playing together. I hate losing to BIG EAST teams more than any other conference, even the other A10 teams, so this loss is extremely frustrating but I'm going to hope that this game will be part of the learning curve for this team understanding what it takes to win. One question I have for anyone who was at the game, with 11 seconds left when COKER fouled ANDREW, do you believe this was done intentionally? On the SJU board they don't sound real pleased with certain aspects of their win but if ANDREW was fouled so SJU could better "control" their outcome, this was genius because ANDREW had to make both foul shots for the BONNIES to win then the BONNIES's defense would have to come up big. A very good percentage play by ROBERTS.

Also, not that it matters, but former BONNIES, HILLARY HALEY & MATT MORGAN scored 22 & 10 points for their new teams last night.

I dont think it was intentional. I was close to the court and Coker looked mad when the ref called it. I dont think Andrew had the ball either and with the bad free throw shooters on our team i dont think they would choose Andrew to go to the line.

Though it worked out for St. John's, for the life of me I can't image a coaching intentionally giving up a lead with 11 seconds left to play.

It was a physical foul, but it was not intentional. Coker was going for the ball, and not for Andrew. Many Bonnie fans in my section could not believe it was called an intentional foul. Still I loved the call. It made for an exciting conclusion to the game. Davenport had a great look to win the game. An open 3 from just beyond the arc.

I'm not sure what play you were watching, it wasn't intentional but Coker wasn't playing the ball at all. He was trying to basically push Andrew to the other side of the court and got called for it.
He absolutely should've gotten that call and I'm sure that Coker kid would've taken some flak if the final score was different. An off-the-ball foul on the opposition's best player? Not smart.
What a game of shoulda coulda wouldas.
