Let's hope so MM.
Crowley wrote a letter to the BV student newspaper this week urging the WolfPack to come out to Sunday's game against Marist, and let me give you a few additional reasons why you should.
1. The Bonnies are 7-0, the best start in team history. The Marist game kicks off a four-game homestand as they will play Buffalo, Bowling Green (another good game) and Fairleigh Dickinson in that stretch.
2. The Bills don't play this Sunday. They will beat the Jets tomorrow.
3. The Marist ladies are perennial powerhouses in the MAAC. Last year they won 22 consecutive games en route to an NCAA apperance as a No. 7 seed. They beat DePaul in the first round and then fell to LSU.
4. Two seasons ago, Marist, as a No. 13 seed, made it to the Sweet 16, the first 13 seed to make it to the women's round of 16. They beat Ohio State and Middle Tennessee State, a 4 and 5 seed, respectively, before losing to eventual champion Tennessee.
5. It will be interesting to see how Marist responds, as they play Friday night at home against Tulsa. They will have little time to prepare for the Bonnies' stout defense, plus they have a 5 1/2 hour bus ride on Saturday.
Go Bonnies!

Count me as one of the team's biggest fans, but unless we make hay in-conference and win at least two of our marquee non conference games (Marist, Bowling Green, Virginia, Michigan State), I don't see a bright postseason future.
The women are 7-0, but similar to how we criticized Illinois State's easy early schedule, the women's is incredibly weak. Consider this:
11-13 at Binghamton 0-4 (0-0) 184 63-42 W 11-15 Akron 2-4 (0-0) 237 67-37 W 11-17 at Canisius 3-2 (0-0) 229 65-47 W 11-19 Niagara 0-6 (0-0) 325 66-49 W 11-24 at Lafayette 1-6 (0-0) 286 58-38 W 11-29 Bryant 2-4 (0-0) 273 66-43 W
No wins against a team with even a top-175 RPI.
Lucky for us the A10 conference is loaded with potential quality wins so we can make up for some early season softies. I know I'll be there Sunday and I hope that a decent enough crowd will be there too. Marist is a great mid-major program and we've played them tough for years now. Hopefully we can snag a VERY important win Sunday in the RC.

I took my 15 year old daughter to see the game (she goes to a school only a few miles away). We really enjoyed the game. Dana Mitchell was "andrewed" as she fouled out playing only 12 minutes and scoring 4 points. My daughter's favorites were Jessica Jenkins (scored 25, mostly from the 3), Megan VanTotenhove (who scored 27), and freshman Alaina Walker who played a terrific floor game and played 26 minutes. This is a very good team, excellent ball movement, passing, looking for the open shot, outstanding free throw shooting, and can kncok down the 3. Their defense is intense. They are fun to watch, I enjoy a team that excels in the fundamentals. www.quinnipiacbobcats.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=17500&ATCLID=204843267

The 7-0 will be tested by Marist. Hope a great crowd shows up. Jessica Jenkins is quite a soph who has knocked down 49% (22/48) from beyond the arc. JJ is also 16-16 from the stripe. Wish some of the men could match her shooting skills. Agree fjs64, they are fun to watch. Met Alaina & her mom last March at Rose Hill & followed her HS play. Wonderful kid who is playing good frosh mins. Go Lady Bonnies!

Alaina's parents attended the game tonight, got to talk to both of them. Really terrific people. Her AAU coach was also in attendence, and one of his players also plays for Quinnipiac .
Alaina is going to be a real asset for this team over her 4 years.

PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO THE BONNIES COACH. This would be a great freshman signee and the good thing is that she was a starter but, now is out for the season and just might be off the Big schools radar. With all due respect to Dana, she is a step above her talent level. Maybe another Andrew Nicholson find. www.ocvarsity.com/search/?fistype=site&q=Justine++HartmanI LOVE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
