Remember, Le Moyne beat Syracuse in the preseason exhibition with a late 3... just a thought worth kickin' around...

Hahaha great first post. What made you wait 2 years to make your wagon debut with that one?

LeMoyne beat SU because SU played man the whole game according to a SU fan. Boeheim's players wanted to play man because they don't like the zone which has been successful for them. The whiner said ok and would not let them play zone. Ergo

Syracuse played man the entire game against LeMoyne - that's the only reason the game was as close as it was. From then they've absolutely been dismantling teams, including blowouts of preseason Pac-10 pick Cal and last year's national champ UNC. They played man for the entire second half against Colgate a few weeks ago and gave up 42 points, compared with 16 that they gave up in the first half. Then they played man against Maine for the entire second half Saturday night and after giving up only 12 in the first half, they gave up 43 in the second. So it's no secret that if they play man you have a shot to beat them, and that's the only reason LeMoyne did. But, Syracuse is probably a top-5 team after the rankings come out later today, so I definitely don't think you can take LeMoyne lightly.

LeMoyne Power Forward Laurence Ekperigin is an excellent player and would either start or see substantial playing time at premier Division 1 programs, including Syracuse University.

It is still a 15 point game with 5 min. remaining in the second half. As I stated in my post, this was a team worth discussing.

A win is a win, but the Brown and White better pick the tempo and energy on Saturday because the outcome could be different.

Besides the rebounding as has been mentioned the BONNIES' defense on LEMOYNE's guard CORBIN was not very good too many easy lay ups after blowing by our guards. This concerns me for when we play teams like NIAGARA. ELEBY was firmly planted on the bench in the second half tonight after seeing a lot of time in the 1st half. Good to see SIMMONS get a lot of time tonight, now he has to work on finishing his drives. ROSEBORO looked okay and should be seeing more time. Kind of expected to see some of CONGER in a game like this, will JAKE ever play again?

Its hard to get fired up to play a Division 2 team is why I expected it to be a game with little passion. The only good thing to come out of it was LeMoyne gave Bonas several different zone looks.
