No Conger, no Cooke, no Schichtel. (dunno, Livestats says we have a Schichtel). Doghouse ? Sorry, Andrew with 3 fouls and now Cooke comes in for the first time with @15 minutes left in the game.
Bonnies playing well so far except for rebounding, where they are killing us.

Wonder what the story is with Conger? Not surprised that Andrew had his hands full with Div II All American Ekperigin. He owned the inside with his 26 pts & 14 boards. Dissapointed we could not disrupt Corbrin from continually going end to end to score 21 pts. Loved the back door plays from Andrew to cutting players. Chris has been solid from beyond the arc. And when was the last time we had single digit TOs. Mark can't be happy with us being outrebounded by 9.

WGT, I think its a story over who does Conger play over. As I have said before who does he play over Matthews, Hall, and Davenport all played well last night. There really isn't a need to play every guy on the the squad during a game. For the most part in D-1 hoops if you play 9 guys in a game that's a lot. If you watch a team like Syracuse last night I think they only played 7 guys night and they have 3 guys who did not play who would start for Bonas.

I agree with you B02. Five spots make it virtually impossible to put guys out for the sake of playing time. I view the playing time allotment based on match ups and what is happening during games and practice. Can't be too concerned about a freshman seeing limited playing time. With 2 departing seniors at years end, kids like Congers and Simmons will be given plenty of opportunities next season. For now, you practice hard and be ready when you are called on. Coach Schmidt is just trying to win games and with this team that will always be a challenge. We are a good team but not going to dominate games. Looks like the A10 is wide open. No team seems to be real good like in past years. I think there will be plenty of parity and close games throughout the league. What I am starting to sense is the return of the "homecourt advantage" we lacked under Sol. If the Bonnies play hard we can win some games on the road but need to make the RC a tough place for the visitors.

Totally agree B02 if this were somewhat of a close game. The 11 point win looks closer than this game was. We were up by 14 with 5 mins left in the first half & up 19 points with 4 mins left in the game. If Conger doesn’t see the floor in that situation there maybe very few opportunities (probably none), where we enjoy such a comfortable lead, to insert him. Practice time is important but nothing like playing in game situations to gain experience. Maybe he was ill or had a bad practice. Michael continues to play well & I was glad to see him play 35 mins which I believe was his most ever. Once we get into A10 play, Mark will be going 7, maybe 8 deep with significant mins.

Just curious, does anyone know if the stats from this game count towards career totals or official league stats? I assume the win doesn't count toward post season consideration?
