Why don't we play Cornell? My buddy who works there told me that Bona refuses to go to Cornell.

I have read alot of posts and continue to draw the same conclusion regarding Syracuse. Playing them only on their terms is just not worth it. Every play is disected and losing by 12 for many on this board is a "victory" and it just seems like alot of people are just in awe of this program. Boheim will always control the scheduling to his benefit so I would rather meet them in an opening round NCAA game where hopefully a neutral court will level the playing field. There is a big world out there and getting out of upstate New York should be a priority. Would we play Canisius or Niagara only on their home court? Schmidt and Watson need to schedule some ACC, SEC or Big 10 games and use Buffalo as our home court. Also, schedule at least one game in the NYC area other than Fordham so we get some exposure to the NY press which has a few alumns employed. I really think Boheim is laughing at us when he schedules these games. Now we have the invisable punch. Rautins might have got hit but probably took a dive. Look at the boxscore. They were not going to foul Andrew out on personals so devised a little scheme at halftime. Don't these guys wear cups? Oh and for what it is worth. Syracuse will be hard pressed to finish in the top 25 based on what I have seen. They look like a middle of the pack Big East team. Is this guy serious? Why the need to insult and put-down Syracuse after we played them as good as anyone this year? Instead of crying that we have to play in the Dome and saying they're a middle-of-the-pack Big East team....why not say we went into the Dome against one of the 5 best teams in the nation and stood toe-to-toe with them? And hopefully we can use the confidence from that game to make a nice run in the A 10? Listen, I'm a lifelong Syracuse fan and a Bona grad. It would've been great to see Bonas win, but it just wasn't going to happen (whether Nicholson got booted or not). It was just great to see the Bonnies hang with them 4 on 5 (since we continue to play without a point guard) even when Cuse threatened to pull away. I know there are MANY on this board who hate Syracuse, and I can totally respect that. But spouting off things like bigdobber did is ridiculous. - Peronally, I would love to see Syracuse leave the Dome more often. But fact is that the basketball program is a huge moneymaker for the athletic department, almost more so than football. For most BSC schools, football is the supreme moneymaker, but Syracuse needs the extra basketball revenue. - You will NEVER see Duke play at Davidson or Michigan State play at Oakland U. It just does not happen anymore. The big teams gain nothing by playing those games, so they're always either on their home court or a neutral site. It's unfortunately, but that's the way it is. Deal with it. - re Rautins, devising a scheme, and wearing cups.....gotta be sarcasim so I'll leave that be - "hard pressed to finish in the top 25 based on what I have seen". Maybe more sarcasim, but if not, you obviously have not watched much basketball....so why even make the comment? It just makes you look stupid. I hate Duke more than anyone, but I can admit that they're good. Plus, you said you bet they finish 4th or 5th in the Big East. You do realize that UConn is currently ranked 11th in the nation.....which makes them the 4th best Big East team. Not too shabby. I know Bonnies fans in general are smarter than this, but these posts make all of us look bad when other schools visit our board.
