At this point Lottin doesn't do anything as a senior to lead this team - shooting, defense or motivation. So why continue to play him....he's brought the team down. Did I imagine this.....but did the ball bounce off Lottin's head last night?

Unfortunately I agree with you whole heartedly. Lottin has not been the same since the FIU Tournament. I was embarrassed for him last night when his defender was 10 feet off of him daring him to shoot the three. He did at least two or three times and we all know the results. If Sol is true to his monicker, "Marching Forward", we may have to leave Lottin behind. With that said, I applaud Patrick for coming back and sticking with us during this rough stretch.
Ahmad isn't the same player that we saw at the beginning of the season. Defenders have gotten wind of his driving to the basket move to the basket...he drives to his right and once he gets there he spins back to shoot a one handed shot with his left (a la Josh Pace). Its become too predictable and that is why you won't see him go off for another 25-28pt. game this season (I hope I am wrong).
We lack defensive intensity and take too long to close out on offensive players...that is why EVERY TEAM shoots lights out against us. As I used to tell my players, "If you don't want to play both ends of the court, you are telling me you don't want to play."

I feel for Lottin, but enough is enough. I think it's time Sol took a look in the mirrow and realized this is a lose season. So the starting line up for the next game should be Tyler Relph, Michael Lee, Paul Williams, Tyler Benson and Ahmad Smith for stability! At least give theses Bonnies of the future the chance to smell the court and break a sweat. It's time to give the under classman PT for the future.
