STOP the talking about leaving the A10!!!!! If you want to the school to experience an even tougher time recruiting, tell a high school kid not only do they have to come to the middle of nowhere but they get to play the likes of Rider and Marist in high school gyms. Hell, let's play in the Northeastern Conference with the likes of St Francis and Rober Morris! To argue whether SBU shoul leave the A10 when the program is at its nadir is nuts. Hell if it's raining and snowing outside and I've got no place to go, I'll stay at the YMCA for the night...or a shelter for that matter. But if I'm hangin at a 4 star, I'm stayin put...even if life sucks for the immediate future. Putting the basketball program aside...just for a second....let;s recall that the swimming and baseball programs are able to compete...and compete very well in the A10....ditto for tennis and soccer is on the rebound....just a little perspective re life in the A10. For sure, hoopsrecruiting is a tough sell...and accordingly we more times than not bring in kids who are still quite raw....which brings us to coaching. I'm not sure who on the coaching staff can do what. The pat answer is "let Sol get more recruits" but can he coach them when they get here...will they become better players?? Fox is one of the best but he's lost his mind on this one!!! Fox, get a grip: believe!!!
