He's playing Bishop Loughlin right now. That should be quite a game.
Nelson's #s from last night.
16 pts on 4-9 shooting. 3-7 TREYS, 5-5 FTs and 5 STEALS
Ed Rhodes, a Bingo keen hoops observer, told me that Nelson was content feeding Carr since the score was one sided from the outset after he drained two treys early.
This was quite evident by his 10 ASSISTS to just 2 Turn Overs. He is a remarkable scoring PG with an eye from deep with super quickness to make steals.

The staff needs to start taking a look at Anthony Lamb from Greece Athena in Rochester. Kid is playing really well now and is 6'6. He is getting looks from the local schools like UB and Canisius as well as Charlotte.

He's a high flyer lefty Marcus Ottey 6'2 G 2016 - lefty athletic leaper 2012 article It looks like Marcus Ottey has broken the laws of physics, a subject the 15-year-old point guard won't even study in high school for another year. The vertical that the Ajax, Ont., baller showed on a one-handed windmill dunk over a defender during the NPH Platform event in Toronto this week must be seen to believed. Not every dunk in a high school hoops event is exceptional, but this fit the bill. Ottey, the son of legendary Canadian high jumper Milt Ottey (and a relative of former track star Merlene Ottey), obviously has his own impressive set of springs. He's listed at an even 6-foot, but Marcus Ottey looked like a mini-Blake Griffin on that flush, only with a defender in his way instead of a Kia.

Rumors he could re-classify to this year 2015 January 23rd, 2015 Nelson Kaputo Recruitment Heating Up Tariq Sbiet,
Courtesy: @ronniemexx Nelson Kaputo is arguably the best pure point guard in the nation for the class of 2016. The St Mike’s lead guard has been the engine for the #1-ranked Canadian High school team — an absolute playmaker. As a result, his recruitment has been picking up, having just received NCAA offers from Richmond (A10) and Canisius (MAAC). Kaputo also had previous offers from both St Bonaventure and North Carolina Central. Both the Bonnies and Golden Griffins have had a strong history in recruiting Canada, while Richmond and NC Central have recently been digging up north. Canisius currently has three Canadians on their roster in Jamal Reynolds, Casius Robertson and Cassidy Ryan, while Richmond has freshman guard Kadeem Smithen. Don’t be surprised if this list is extended by season’s end.

If Kaputo reclassifies, I doubt we land him. Jay is entrenched as the starter at PG for the next 3 seasons so why would Kaputo come here to be a back up? If he stays 2016 then it would be more logical. He is already starting to blow up which will mean the bigger schools will continue to go after him.

I would think a team that loses to UMES ,Delaware and Siena can find room for a guard the talent level of Kaputo. He is a quality guard who can play PG and can score - and Posley will be a senior.

I should put another way - Kaputo would not be intimidated by anyone on our team. Also next year we have a senior Posley at the 2 and nobody in line to play the 3

New England Recruiting Report updated 2016 ranking for Vermont Class of 2016
Ben Shungu, Rice – With his high school career little more than half over, Shungu might already be the best player in the state of Vermont regardless of class. He already has a pair of state championships to his name and some early division I attention as he continues to raise the level of his game.
Kendrick Gray, Rice – Shungu may very well be the best player in the state, but his Rice teammate is nonetheless the best prospect in the state with the type of physical tools that simply can’t be taught and a ton of upside still left to discover. He’s long, athletic, fluid, and still just scratching the surface of his potential.
Josh Hale, Burlington – The Burlington junior is a jack of all trades with a balanced and mature floor game. He’s skilled and heady, able to put up already impressive numbers in the high school ranks, but also projected as a prospect who will make a smooth transition into offensive structure at the next level.
Eli DiGrande, Essex – He’s grown up to six-foot-six and is developing into a nice prospect. He can shoot the three, has a high basketball I.Q., and is strong enough to produce inside. He also has good DNA for the hardwood but doubles as a quarterback for the football team.
