As I recall, Wright's numbers weren't even that good. Hall looks legit and I'd really like to see him here.

Jonathan Hall has good #s for possessing only 1 offer from Niagara. Reminds me of Dion who had zero offers after graduation. Predicting success at the Div I level is not an exact science. Posley was ranked #13 in Illinois in his class but after a college career was ranked #4 against that same players. At Carver Engineering & Science HS in Phily Jonathan was named 2nd team All City. He played 2 years JV & started Varsity his junior & senior years. He graduated (took AP math & physics) & went to Standard of Excellence Post Grad Academy where he had 22 ppg, 12 rebounds & shot 42%. In 2013 for the NJ Select he played 24 games scoring 20 ppg, 10 rebs, 4 blocks, shooting 48% FGs, 34% Treys & 70% from the stripe. In Dec 2015 he was named "Most Outstanding Player" at the Abington Friends & Coaches VS Cancer Tournament. According to Newkirk (Director at SEC) Jonathan will get to show his skills at Bona to determine if he will be offered the final ship. If he is offered our staff will have seen something most have overlooked as did EVERY ONE with Dion who became the #4 rebounder in the A10, averaging 17 ppg. Is he another Dion? Good luck to Jonathan. Any news on how the visit went?

Guess that means he is sentenced to 4 years at Niagara - hard time!

I know this is crazy talk, but when you look at where the Bonnies are at, I say why not. Derick Woods, is a power forward, I believe we need one. Derick, if you ever check out this board, maybe you've moved on, but Bona's out of your mind, but if you want to give it a shot, I say you see if you can come back. It would have to be a mutual interest and I wouldn't blame you one otta if you say you want to come back as a forward. Mistakes are made all the time, this is about a guy who got what most people feel was a good start. It just has to be two people talking on a phone, if that ship has sailed so be it, it just seems like we're trying to find a fit. I'm all about trying to fill a need, but I'm concerned about a player who is going to come in for a year and then (it seems) they've got a chance at bringing in some really good players in the next year or so. Heck, this is a fan board and this is the opinion of a Bona fan. I don't see the whole picture, but I see in Woods a good young player ready to contribute, from a players standpoint you don't have to sit out a year. I don't get caught up in winners and losers, D Woods seems like the best bet. Somebody call somebody and find out.

Anyone hearing whether or not the staff is looking to add depth by filling Woods' 'ship or not? Maybe with Ayeni enrolled now, it is not seen as necessary, or maybe none of the prospects they reportedly looked at fit the team, or they'd just rather hold a spot open in the hopes someone really special falls into their lap, but on the other hand I think this could be a really big year and some extra depth, particularly on the front court, might help. So I am just wondering.

I'd assume its pretty late in the game to get a contributor who wouldn't be a disruption in other ways. If there was a rebounder who was immediately eligible, sure, but there just isn't anymore. Maybe a well regarded freshman will decommit, but even then that is unlikely.

KEJUAN JOHNSON 6-6 210 just decommited from Rutgers and OPONG BRAMLE 6-6 220 may still be available but not sure if the staff would tie the ship up for possibly 4 years on someone who may not come in and contribute immediately. Agree with agoo101284 that another rebounder could be used, but there is one immediately available transfer out there that intrigues me, CLEVELAND "PANCAKE" THOMAS 6-3 SG just left Hartford. PANCAKE shot over 42% from beyond the arc and averaged 18.9 ppg last year. PANCAKE would be a one and done thus not tying up a ship. THOMAS could be a game changer coming off the bench and hitting a couple 3s, but not sure what he envisions his role to be at a new school.

It's late in the game, however the top of the league rivals are still looking to improve..., as should the Bonnies....VCU looking good to get Andrew White III from Nebraska. Down to VCU and SU...he's from Richmond and has been there working out during the summer. Decision will be made very soon with classes starting at both institutions next week. This would be a coup for VCU and would create one of the toughest match-ups in the A-10. Was a very solid player in the B1G last year.

J.P. wrote an article about 3 weeks ago mentioning the Bonnies had a visitor late this summer in 6-9 California native Arinze Chidom. Chidom played on the #1 ranked California team out of Oakland in 2015 and spent last year at Sunrise Christian Academy in Atlanta. J.P. reported that Chidom was scheduled to play at Merritt Community College this coming season, but Schmidt saw him at a Juco showcase and was intrigued enough to bring him in. EDIT: After searching the past couple of weeks with no updates on him, I now see he committed to Washington St last week...
