AND NOW, a healthy dose of pure, undiluted Kool-Aid powder, consumed whilst wearing Rose-colored glasses:
I love that all of these guys are winners already. These type of kids can set the tone for years to come. As they mature into team leaders, I hope/expect their history of winning will make them demand the same of themselves, their teammates and coaches.
I am having trouble containing my mid- and long-term excitement and expectations for this group -we have shooters, slashers and sky-ers. I believe the guys will mesh and I really think/hope this is THE graduating class (to include Jalen) we have been waiting for and in 4 years will propel us to the top of the league and help in drawing in some top recruits to join them to keep us there for a while. I predict that in 10 and 20 years we will look back on this group as the one that started the new "golden-age of Bona hoops".
Kool-aid, anyone? Having been the one to issue cautions in the past about not getting too excited about kids who have yet to play a single college game, I feel a little foolish posting this, but what the hell - I believe!
Believe! - drink up! OK, feel free to start blasting me, but remember you heard it here first.
