Anyone know anything about the latest recruiting target. I'm assuming this is for the 2006-2007 season. Kid has some nice stats.
From Friday's Charlotte Oberserver:
Charlotte Latin forward Charles Dewhurst has been offered a scholarship by St. Bonaventure, coach Jerry Faulkner said.

Rivals has him listed as the 35th best small forward. And 137 overall. Not to be negative, but if this kid wants to play in the A-10 don't you think he'd stay close to home (UNC Charlottle)?

scout.com...updated the rankings of the recruits that SBU targeted.....
the biggest changes were the players who committed to SBU...
the following are now 3-Star Players:
-SG NR A.J. Hawkins (South Kent School) South Kent, CT 6-5/190 Verbal Yes Committed to St. Bonaventure
-PF JC Lex James (CC of San Francisco) San Francisco, CA 6-9/230 - Committed to Rhode Island
the following are 2-Star Players:
-SG NR Tyler Benson (Massanutten Military Academy) Woodstock, VA 6-7/200 Verbal Yes Committed to St. Bonaventure
-C JC Dave Fox (Mercyhurst North East) North East, PA 6-10/255/7.7 Verbal Yes Committed to St. Bonaventure -PG JC Terron Diggs (Tallahassee) Tallahassee, FL 6-0/180 Verbal Yes Committed to St. Bonaventure
-C JC Ivan Kovacevic (Olney Central College) Olney, IL 6-11/275 Verbal Yes Committed to St. Bonaventure
In summary, James & Hawkins were upgraded to 3-stars and Ivan & Diggs to 2-stars...while Fox & Benson stayed at 2-stars.....remember TylerR (4-star player out of HS) is the only player on the SBU-roster who was ranked higher than 2-stars by scount.com
All of this is confirming what many on the board have been saying in regards to the strength of this class...

with 3-"ships" for this recruiting season (Lottin, ASmith & WDunston) any combination of 3 of these players would really be something to get excited about...we would be Marching Forward breaking into a trot!
