Some more stuff....... www.draftexpress.com/profile/Youssou-Ndoye-41998/stats/basketball.realgm.com/player/Youssou-Ndoye/Summary/30605In January....... Rim & Board: The search is always on for the latest 'rim protector,' and if he can rebound, more the better. With the proliferation of 'stretch fours, and stretch fives,' -- essentially passive post players who shoot facing the basket over powering to the basket -- classic inside players are hard to find. But we found one -- at St. Bonaventure. He's 7-0, 255-pound senior Youssou Ndoye, who ranks among the nation's leaders in rebounding and blocked shots. He is a rare find, considering few 7-footers are really good rebounders. But Ndoye was averaging 11.3 boards, sixth in the nation, going into the Bonnies Sunday game at Richmond, and 3.0 blocked shots per game, which ranks in the top 15. Ndoye is from Dakar, Senegal and went to prep school in Maine, where he was very lightly recruited. But like many big guys, he grew better with time and now seems headed for a lucrative future after Atlantic 10 Conference play. Witness what the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers recently gave up in trade (two first round picks) for a 'rim protector' and Ndoye's value is pretty clear. The one college stat NBA scouts say translates most to 'the league' is rebounding. As for the Bonnies, they are 8-6, 1-2 after Sunday's 60-41 loss, where Ndoye delivered his worst effort of the season; four points, six rebounds, one block in 20 minutes. Before that, he had double-digit rebounds in every game this season but two. www.cleveland.com/sports/college/index.ssf/2015/01/heir_apparents_are_hard_to_fin.html

With 5 2nd Round Picks, i hope my Sixers take him.. Not only will he have an opportunity to play right away, but i think he would be a good fit with the young squad..

Attached is article from JP "Ndoye pursuing pro dreams." JP mentioned following: -- Youssou will be visiting Nets and Grizzlies. -- Along with Cody LaLanne, Youssou's 7'5" wing span was the longest at Portsmouth. -- In the 3 games at Portsmouth Youssou averaged 11 points, 10 rebounds and one block. He really stood out in the final contest, going for 14 points, 13 rebounds and three rejections. -- “Yeah, I could see him getting summer league invites,” said one NBA reporter who will be covering the draft in Brooklyn, “but unlikely to see him get drafted.” www.oleantimesherald.com/sports/article_058ff370-0ffc-11e5-a14c-177987b6ae1e.html

Who'd have thought it possible a few years back? Not me, but I surely would like to see it happen. Good for Youssou, good for the program, and good for SBU if it happens.

9 foot 4 inch standing reach. Just amazing. If I get a running head start I can maybe* touch 9'4 if I get a good jump

He's got workouts set up with the Knicks and Jazz. Whats the best case for Youssou? A lot of times its better go undrafted then be a very late pick because it allows the player to choose the best situation for themself.

Youssou will more than likely go undrafted but be brought into training camp with a team and be assigned to their D-League team as an affiliate player. This will allow the team to monitor Youssou closely but also giving the big fella a chance to play and develop in a teams minor league system. He also has the option mid season, if a call up doesn't look promising, to be bought out buy a club from overseas but still have his rights owned by the NBA team but he participated in training camp with.

Going undrafted and being placed in the NBAD-league would not be a bad thing for Youssou. St. Joe's Langston Galloway was not drafted and went to the NBAD-league. He was called up by the Knicks, averaging 11.8 ppg and making this year's 2nd team All NBA Rookie Team. Actually 33% of NBA players spent time in the NBAD-league. It is also a lot more difficult for a college player to get drafted. Last year 12 foreign and 3 NBAD-league players were drafted, which makes up 25% of the 2 round draft. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langston_Gallowayen.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_Development_Leagueen.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_NBA_draft

Getting lots of looks...
RT @adamzagoria: 7-footer Youssou Ndoye of St. Bonaventure has the Clippers today and Utah tomorrow. Worked out for #Knicks last week.
