Quote of the day:
"This team will have an even greater opportunity to 'lay more bricks down.'"

I think we'll be OK next year. These guards we brought in will improve our backcourt and shooting, and hopefully Lee and Williams continue to improve and Kaba is the defensive stopper, shot blocker and rebounder we all hope he is. We need at least two guys on the perimeter that can hit the three consistently, Maybe Z and Tyler. Depending on the job Solomon does, the talent/depth is in place for 10-15 wins.

1) A very thorough and extensive job done by Steve and the athletic communications department that will hopefully silence many a naysayer aboard this bandwagon.
2) I haven't, in three years, heard Solomon specificly reference 2003 that many times. Think he feels the heat based on the sudden, repeated references to the (what I though was distant) past?
3) "His knack for shot-blocking, athleticism and energy level should help improve our team defense." I was expecting more of an affirmation of Kaba's defensive abilities, especially after the endorsements given to Fereti and Calvin. "Should?" In retrospect, that sound like what I'd expect him to say about Fox or Ivan.
4) "Great moments in time do not occur because of one individual but many who dare to hope and dream for better days with passion." Quote Anthony Solomon, nevermore! Upset about him dodging the fact we have no staff as I read this line, this, to me, reaffirms his confidence in rebuilding this program. Something I needed to hear.
