Our new assistant coach is a 50% 3-point shooter! We need him on the floor instead of the bench. Good luck to Andy (especially in recruiting).

Vast D-1 experience? Check. Lower-level head coaching experience? Check. Recent links throughout the recruiting trail, maybe even in NYC? Check. I'll certainly take Johnston, especially at this point.
FYI, had he stayed another year atop the helm at American International, he'd have had the honor of coaching Bona legend Kenny McFarland, who played at AIC in 99-00 and is currently keeping the dream alive in Ireland.
Go Kenny Mac, welcome coach Johnston, and, please, Free Peaches.

My thoughts exactly B02. Welcome Coach Johnston. Around your area of Park Slope I’m sure you enjoyed wonderful views of the NY skyline. In Bona territory you will enjoy views of the wonderful “Enchanted Mountains.” With the departure of Bobby G & his staff from Manhattan you might have given the Jaspers some thought. I’m pleased that you value the A10 conference & see coaching at Bona as a great challenge & opportunity. Your knowledge of the NY Metro area coaches & talent will hopefully prove fruitful in recruiting. All the best in your “Good Journey” with the Bonnies.
