Bonnies win a close one 4-3 after jumping out early 4-0. Dayton had a nice turn out at Rose Hill today but once again the Bona faithful were there in force providing the more vocal support of their Bonnies. Nothing like sitting with the player’s parents who live & die with every pitch. As the squadrons of fighter jets flew over the Bronx for Fleet Week the Dayton Flyers could not soar of our Bonnies. This is the first season for the new Fordham Houlihan Park at Rose Hill. Bona has already started work on the new baseball field which will have the same playing surface. It is an absolutely magnificent surface that all in Allegany will be in awe of. Zennicker pitched 7 2/3 giving up no earned runs & had a no hitter through the 4th. Fielding was a little shaky in spots but frosh catcher Bruce Salerno’s throw out of leadoff batter attempting to steal 2nd with no outs was huge in the 9th inning. Bona goes against St Louis tomorrow at noon They beat # 1 seed URI yesterday. Winner goes to A10 Championship game on Saturday. Go Bonnies!

I am guessing that Cody Vincent will be pitching tomorrow? Bonnies need a win against St. Louis tomorrow to be in the driver's seat.
