Tell us more about Jalen. That’s a first name that carries a lot of weight with Bona recruiters.

Tell us more about Jalen. That’s a first name that carries a lot of weight with Bona recruiters. Played at Aquinas in Rochester, prepped at Spire this past year with Dom. He was a nice player at AQ, not sure how he did at Spire. We’ve had a bit of mutual interest for a while now.

Sounds like a candidate for our 5th guard slot.

Not sure why Pickett hasn't had much recruiting attention. He played PG on the 2017 Albany City Rocks AAU team with Welch and a bunch of other D1 players. His stats on that team are good, much better than Welch's, actually. Pickett shot over 60% from the field, 37% on 3ptrs, and had 52 assists to 16 turnovers.

Pickett is a very old school player. Does all the little things. He is a winner, won sectional and I believe even a state title at Aquinas. Was easily their best player each year. Excelled playing for city rocks. His stats show that he does everything on the court. Not the most athletic or explosive player on the court, hence why I said his game has that old school feel. Very under the radar. Could be a huge steal for Bonaventure

According to twitter, Anthony Roberts on an official this weekend. Hard to see us taking both Roberts and Pickett, but I guess you never know.

MOREAUX sure did not look 6-8 yesterday. More like 6-5 or maybe 6-6.

At one scrimmage, ROBERTS hit like 4 3s in a row, has a real nice shot and handle, but defense wasn't always there, PICKETT got past him a couple times.

Sipo- did you see any or all of these guys playing with team members? How'd they look? Being down one coach and with it being a live period with big tourneys in Pittsburgh and Dallas, I am a bit surprised we have coaches on campus for 3 visitors. Whatever it takes, just find us good players!!
It seems like Pickett may have stopped at Bonas on his way to Pittsburgh to play in the JamFest. I saw an AQ game early in his senior year. Jerome Robinson was there watching and he was standing right next to my buddy and I. He seemed to like Pickett's game at the time. I agree with franchise33, an old school feel to his game. Does whatever it takes to win. And he won sectional and state championships in football and hoops at Aquinas
