Does anyone else find it concerning that Stockard isn't playing in these scrimmages. I don’t. Stockard needs to rest and mend. He’s had a lot of injuries the last few years. What do he or coaches have to gain by putting more mileage on his legs/feet? He’s a gamer. He’s our stud. Save his talents for November. I totally get why he has been a spectator the last few weeks.

I hope we get Moreaux. He seems like the kind of kid that would like it here. Well spoken, good student (3.1 GPA), wants his parents to be able to see him play in front of a big crowd. And if he doesn't mind living in rural Nebraska, he probably will be comfortable here.
He may be a bit undersized but if he's pulling down rebounds, who cares. I'd rather have a 4 man that can handle the ball a bit and run the floor, which it sounds like he can do. Also, he is another late starter. He played soccer and picked up basketball late. So there could be some upside there.

Mark Schmidt's view of Poyser's position differs from UNLV message board and Bandwagon commentators: "He's a combo guard who can score, can play the point some times, and can lead our team. He should be a great fit in what we want to do."

The teams can get sort of whacky, and guys aren’t always bringing the intensity. Last summer, people were raving about Ayeni’s three-point shooting. Those shots aren’t there (or encouraged) when the lights come on.

For background.....last fall he signed a LOI with Arkansas-Little Rock, but due to a coaching change, he was released.... northeast.edu/News/Article.aspx?ID=2681www.kark.com/news/local-news/mens-basketball-coach-fired-at-ua-little-rock/1026327178

We also offered the kid who was born in Ghana, lived in Germany, educated in England and attending juco in the us.....morceau. I like this quote from early 2017 regarding Moreaux: “Melki is an extremely good offensive player, but the one factor that really stands out is his ability to rebound. He gets rebounds that other players can’t get.” Sounds a lot like another "skinny guy" we got a few years ago at that height and weight who made his living on finding ways to get rebounds and score inside....

Interesting, but a useless bit of trivia......he is from Jackson MS, the only Mississippi player I can remember was Carl Jackson who played in the 70's....is it a sign, doubt it.

So we clearly need a big : iwashopingwe might hear something about deon ejim, maybe not that big at 6’7”, but a great rebounder. Why is another point guard even in the mix. The numbers are underwhelming. Sorrymyipadis possessed. I tried editing and it just made it worse.
I like Roberts kandtrust thestaffif they decide on Melki, but I don’t see another point guard, particularly one who shoots 26 but from 3. Ugggggg
