Congrats Bonnies!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck in the championship game at noon on Sunday. Loved the "Lets Go Bonas" chant at the end of the 8th inning.

Sounded almost like the Reilly Center there for a while ! The video streaming is awesome - wonder if they they could do that for basketball too ?
Probably Cody Vincent vs the Billiken's ace tomorrow, with the A-10 championship and an NCAA berth on the line.
Go Bonnies !!!

Wonder who will be the home team tomorrow ? Both teams have 1 loss, and Bona is a higher seed, so I would think it would have to be us. But then with these crazy A-10 rules, you never know. Also, we have played St. Louis twice and they were home team both times.
Boy, Indy 500, or Bona baseball tomorrow - both are on at Noon - I'll be watching the Bonnies !!
Too bad there is no radio broadcast tomorrow (internet audio and video only according to Steve Mest on the post-game show) - I know a lot of old-timers that have listened loyally that will be very disappointed.

With 2 out and bases loaded in the top of the first, Coach had the kid on third steal home to put SBU up 3-0. Gutsy and great call which turned out to be the game winner. Great crowd on hand!!

clubber, not only was it a gutsy call by the A10 coach of the year but great execution by Mardeusz who had stolen only 2 bases all season. From Coach Sudbrooks' post game interview: “It’s a play we put in before the start of the season in the gym. When you’re practicing in Olean [New York] in January and February, you don’t get outside very often so you have time to do some goofy things,” said St. Bonaventure head coach Larry Sudbrook, who is trying to lead SBU to its second league title in three seasons. “I just felt like we needed an adrenaline shot to get our team charged up with emotion so they wouldn’t feel tired.” The other highlight clip of the game was the fantastic diving catch by Rizzo in left center with a man on. Ball rolls to the fence if he doesn't make the spectacular diving catch. Possibly the best defensive play of the series that came late in the game with a 1 run lead.

Its great to see guys like Sudbrook doing so well for Bonaventure. I had the pleasure of spending some time with him in college during his coaching baseball course and this guy has tremendous knowledge of the game as is evident with his program's success.
