Anyone with Scout want to post the article on this Detroit SG we're recruiting? Scout says we're one of seven in on him, with Dayton and X giving the initial offers and Simon recently receiving four more offers. Rivals lists MSU and Stanford as well.
We all know this will probably never happen, but anyone with a subscription care to let us know whether or not we've offered? Thanks.

Not the Scout article but here is something -- michigan.scout.com/2/490977.html"I'm hearing from Marquette, Xavier, Syracuse, St. Bonaventure, Dayton, Michigan, and Wisconsin," Simon said. "Xavier has really been on me a lot. They've been in touch a lot this week because they wanted to make sure I watch their game against Cincinnati. Right now I've got offers Xavier, Dayton, and St Bonaventure, but I look for my recruitment to rise up after the summer." And there is this -- michigan.scout.com/2/535064.htmlHas offers from Dayton, St Bonaventure, and Xavier. And -- sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/news?slug=rivals-24288&prov=rivals&type=story_recruitingFor a player his size he has a great handle and he can get to the rim almost at wil

From the Miami (OH) recruiting site: 2007 PROSPECT: He is a point forward, he plays point guard for the high school team, but he can score. His floor awareness, ability to create, and ability to get everyone involved are his strengths.
From Scout: Started his freshman and sophomore seasons. "He sees the court so well," coach Nkwane Young told the Detroit Free Press. "His vision on the court enables him to get everyone involved."
From Michiganpreps.com: After starting slowly in AAU play this Spring, 6-5, 185-pound class of 2007 point guard Chase Simon of Detroit (Mich.) Community has looked like a totally different player as of late. He looks to be improving and playing with more confidence after an All-Tournament performance at the Cleveland Basketball Club tournament while playing with the Michigan Mustangs. He now gears up for a big summer.
...and the Dayton site: One of the most versatile backcourt players in the 2007 class is Detroit Community's Chase Simon. A starter from day one, Simon is just now scratching the surface of his potential. He's going all-out on the AAU circuit, and coaches are starting to step up, including three schools from the Atlantic 10 that have already offered.
At 6-5, sounds like a David Vanterpool type. Would be a major steal and will likely sign early.
