According to a report on WPIG, Olean radio station and carrier of Bona basketball games, the NCAA sanctions against SBU from the Jamil Terrell Scandal will expire at the end of the day. With that said I hope the university and its sports teams never, ever, have to go through another incident like this. Now that the sanctions are over maybe we shouldn't even mention the "scandal!"
Long live all the old-time Bona Bandwagon posters and faithful readers. Hopefully I will see many of you at the St. John's Festa Italiana.

It would be nice to be able to move on from it, but the damage done by VBK and Wickenheiser will continue to hurt us for the forseeable future.

For a time, the scandal had some Atlantic 10 Conference administrators wondering if St. Bonaventure should even keep its membership in the league. Those days are long gone now as Bona has proven to be a viable program in most Olympic-style sports in the league and has passed nearly two dozen audits and reviews during its three-year probation.
Good news there. Let's hope we can work off of it.

When is Italian Fest this year? This weekend. Sorry, this has nothing to do with the NCAA sanctions, but we're coming in for orientation Sunday. Where is the Italian Fest being held?
