This story appeared on Page 3 of yesterday's Buffalo News Sports section. Marques is doing pretty well for himself in France. It looks as though he's finally got the chance to be a pure PG, a role in which he's thriving for the league's championship runner-up. www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060718/1065025.aspAlso, Tim Winn and the Buffalo Silverbacks will bring their "Do Your Best, Never Quit" life and basketball seminar to Olean's William O. Smith Recreation Center Thursday, July 27 at 1:30 p.m. The seminar is free to all area children. Be it the French Pro A League or the ABA, Marques and Tim continue to make their alma mater proud. Any updates on Robert Palmer, Daks Williams or Antoinne Wills?

Any updates on Robert Palmer, Daks Williams or Antoinne Wills? I'm thinking this is a blend of Robert Cheeks (thought I read that someone said he was coaching/teaching high school) and Rashaan Palmer...I have no idea what Rashaan is doing.

Not Rashaan Palmer, and obviously not Robert Cheeks, and not the Robert Palmer who sang "Addicted to Love," either. He was a member of one of Baron's first classes and was one of the funniest looking guys in his short time in the Brown & White, and that's counting Tobias Hauff. Robert couldn't have been around more than a year, if even a semester and was from Mississippi, I think. Man, Baron brought in some characters. Where's Rashaan, anyway?
