For those of you in the Buffalo viewing audience you may have seen the feature of Tim Winn on WGRZ-TV during the sports report. It was nicely done. It mainly talked about Tim growing with basketball and how he has transformed his career from player to role model. I was impressed. You may be able to view the report from WGRZ's website. They do a nice job of providing video on the site. I believe the website address is: www.wgrz.com. If that doesn't work just Google the tv station. Good job Tim! What really impressed me was his attitude. Honestly, I see coaching in Tim's future. Does anyone know if or why we didn't try to get Tim to fill one of the assistant coaches jobs?

I've said it before but I think Tim Winn would have been a great pick for an assistant job. He has a great attitude and a great love for the University. I don't think he would have worked well with Solomon though. Solomon's style is a little G-rated, ABC Family Channel-ish while I think Tim would be a little more "in your face." I hope he finds himself a spot on the coaching squad in the future after Solomon's days are over.

Do you people forget the viscious attack Tim did on campus while a student-athlete here?

I wouldn't exactly call it a "viscious attack." One punch thrown where damages to the student were actually worsened by his fall. Not condoning it by any means, but its not like he beat him to an inch of his life. I know the kid that he hit, and believe me, this kid was an instigator in every sense of the word.
I'm pretty sure everyone makes mistakes at some point, sbu83. Tim obviously did a lot positive for this university and continues to do a lot of positives through his current program. I doubt this incident would be held against him in the future if an assistant spot opened up.
