Has anyone stayed in the Motel De Soto or one of the small Allegany motels?
Thinking about something close for parents weekend.

Having stayed & all of the area accommodations except the Old Library B&B I suggest you check out Microtel Inn & Suites (716-373-5333) across from the campus & next to the Country Inn & Suites (716-372-7500). Great price for what you get at Microtel. I have stayed at the DeSoto many times, brings back memories for alums but I would stay clear of it as it has really gone down hill. If Microtel is booked, check out Best Western (716-372-1300) just 1/2 mile East of campus. Book early & enjoy parents weekend.

The De Soto is perfect if you're not planning on spending alot of time in the room. I go up once or twice a year with some fellow grads and at $59 per night...can't beat it. We get a corner suite and it sleeps 4.

Naming rights for the corner room have been relinquished to the Vayo Suite. Cost is a dinner at the Student Prince on your next trip to Spfld!!!

They have a breakfast buffet at the De Soto that's almost funny to look at. A couple boxes of cereal, some milk, coffee and some bananas. They're just trying to keep up with the... Jones'.
I owe you Dem, I know that.
