2.8, Dowtin at line, makes ft, 95-92, 1.9 after foul. Stukes 2 1 ft, misses 2nd, lane violation LaSalle. URI survives in ot, 95-93.

Unreal ending in regulation & OT.
BJ Johnson had 31 pts & 24 boards. Super performance BUT he had the ball down 1 with 10 secs & losses the ball out of bounds. Cruel ending for Explorers. Dr G showed more anguish (he is demonstrative) than I have ever seen by a coach. He was banging his head against one of his assistant's shoulders.

Dowtin 25, Robinson 20 for Rams, BJ 29 & 23 for Explorers. URI clinches tie for reg season crown.
Roadies are hard in this league. No matter where you play.

An example of how maddening life as a coach can be.

www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/22519688/jay-bilas-gets-set-march"Underrated players I have seen a bunch of outstanding players this season, and most of the best players I have seen are getting a lot of ink (is it ink, or are they getting a lot of cyber pub?). Aside from the usual suspects, here are some of the most underrated players in America, and players you should keep in mind as the NCAA tournament nears: Mike Daum, South Dakota State; Fletcher Magee,Wofford; Tony Carr, Penn State; Jaylen Adams, St. Bonaventure; Peyton Aldridge, Davidson; Justin Robinson, Virginia Tech; Mo Wagner, Michigan; Aaron Holiday, UCLA; Gary Clark, Cincinnati; Omer Yurtseven, NC State; Ray Spalding, Louisville." Jay to Jay love

URI's win over La Salle is a good thing.
At #18 they are recognized nationally as a very good team. Yet some of our struggling A10 teams have given them quite a game so far this season. The Rams beat La Salle by 3 in OT, Dukes by 3, UMass by 2 & St Louis by 7. And of course we beat them. Maybe the A10 teams are not quite the push overs many think.

I dont think it was a matter of the A10 being pushovers. It was that as a whole, the conference did not get a ton of meaningful wins.

Most teams did not not meet OOC expectations and the A10’s win percentage took a hit. Regardless, these programs have A10 players (see: ballers) that can still play at a high level on any night and beat our strong teams (and many P5 teams, for that matter). The apparent lack of NBA “talent” (yuck) argument is superficial; this league is still good.

For some reason Im still a little scared of VCU. Maybe I'm just judging them too much off the past because I haven't seen them this year. But they just got waxed by George Washington. I think the main thing is they have a tough arena to play in.

I'll be very pleasantly surprised if we win that game. That's the one I think we lose along the way, if any. Tillman is just a beast inside, but you're right, an4poy, they are very tough on their home court....

If they keep winning I'll be scared they won't get an invite. If they get an invite I'll be scared they'll be a one and done. If they win the NCAA championship I'll be scared of how the team will fare without Jay and Matt. I live in constant fear.

I feel the same way!
