The A10 has its last OOC game tonight, 7-3 URI goes against Florida Gulf Coast at 7pm in Kingston....game is televised on ESPNU. I am interested in watching those RAMs, and I really hate having to hope a Hurley led team wins. One thing very obvious, that senior Andre Berry for URI, is berry berry big, in a broad kind of way...6'8" 275. Not as big, though as who we will see on Saturday...Rashaun Holloway. 38 - 32 URI leads

Going back and forth between these two games. Ugly. Uri shoots a lot of threes... And misses them... Mostly because langevine is just completely listed down low.
Meanwhile eastern Michigan is trying its best to make our win over Syracuse look downright pedestrian.

Syracuse cruises by 15. That defense is just nasty.

I've stated on here how I grew up a Rhode Island fan because my old man went to Rhody but once I started looking at Colleges I fell in love with St. Bonaventure immediately ('99-'00)!! So me and my old man go to as many Bona's and Rhody games as we possibly can while living just 25-30 minutes outside Philly (like next Saturdays game against St. Joe's), and we always have friendly spirited bets and debates going on between our two schools. I say all this cause I happened to show my Pops the Rhode Island Basketball Forum, after he asked about whether or not they had one because I talk about ours a some-times, and I went on-line and showed him their sight. Well you all can see what they think about our Bonnie's below, the amount of jealousy is amazing!! We're "second fiddle" to that Rhody program, that 'Cuse win was nothing cause 'Cuse is having a bad season, and "just ignore any analyst saying Bona's is better than Rhody"! I can't wait to play them and show them what a real team looks like!! (I will note that my Pop's loves our Bonnie's too, watches every game, and is a true fan).. This is just some of it: "Syracuse is overrated this year in my opinion. They haven't exactly played well against tough teams. I don't feel Bonnies should be getting more votes than URI in any poll. They're out of conference schedule isn't that good. I definitely don't think URI is getting the respect they deserve. They've been winning games without E.C. for part of the season and even Langevine was out for at least a game."keaneyblue.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7121&start=100

What's so bad about those comments. Stop blowing things way out of proportion because it shows you are over sensitive and too emotional to engage in any reasonable discussion.

Stop blowing things way out of proportion because it shows you are over sensitive and too emotional to engage in any reasonable discussio Ha Well welcome to the Bandwagon Ricardo! You obviously don't know what you're talking about if you think like that, but hey everyone's entitled to their 2 comments about Bona's basketball, but maybe you should hold off judgement on how I handle myself via my conversational approach, it makes you sound stupid!. But look, no hard feelings on my end, I'm sure you have so many in depth thoughts on our Bonnie's and I can't wait to hear them, good luck going forward!..

I just watched SU dispose of kenpom #35 Va Tech. They just dominate the boards. That Bona win on their court will be every bit as good as Rhody’s lone Group 1 win.

I saw Kentucky beat Georgia 66-61 today, giving Georgia their 3rd loss on the season, which is kind of crazy considering UMass beat Georgia by 10 (Georgia's 3rd loss was at San Diego St.). Looks like Georgia isn't a great road team but what UMass was able to do against Georgia reflects well on the A10 and our Bonnie's!

Speaking of Georgia, why has former Bona recruit, ISAAC KANTE only has minimal minutes in 4 years this year?

ISAAC visited BONAS last spring and I believe he had BONA listed in his final 3.

KANTE hasnt progressed enuf to get minutes in the SEC. georgia has 2 good frontcourt guys ahead of him. plus they just received a commit from another 6-7 kid for next year who is alleged to be a good one.

Wow more bad news! Maryland's Ivan Bender will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, this comes only days after Justin Jackson was announced to miss the remainder of the season too, Ivan was only averaging 3.4 pts and 2.9 rebounds but he did start 7 games this yr already. Our win against Maryland is going to look less and less like a "quality" win if Maryland isn't able to hold on obviously, so that win against 'Cuse is going to have too be our Ace in the Hole, while hopefully URI continues to win so we can take a couple "good wins" from them too! (Rhody has wins against Seton Hall and Providence with only a 4 pt loss to Alabama and a very close loss to Nevada).. Maryland did get a pretty good win tonight against an improving Penn St. squad who are now 11-5. Vermont also beat Harvard 62-56 while Northeastern unfortunately lost 71-70 to Hofstra. Buffalo however did beat Toledo 104-94. Oh and TCU hung on in Overtime to beat Baylor 81-78..

If SBU and Rhode Island have between3-4 losses in A-10 play and do well in the conference tournament they should get in. Remember we are all trying to hit a moving target. If the committee wants us they will be able to justify it. On the other hand if they don’t want us they will justify that.
