Ron Threehouse passed away unexpectedly this morning. Ron was the proprietor of the Bowlean (pronounced bowl-lee-ann) bowling alley for as long as I can remember and was one of Olean's greatest entrepreneurs. He will be deeply missed.

God's blessings to Ron's family. Growing up across the street, I spent most teenage years in there. Very, very nice man!!! I will forever have great memories of the Bowleen and Ronny!!!

I watched the Nova/Bona NCAA game from the Bowlean in 1970 as a student.

I did not know Mr. Threehouse, but a bunch of us lived in the Holiday Inn across the street as first semester freshman. We felt welcome at the Bowlean and enjoyed the 15 cent Kohler beers on tap as well as an occasional game on lanes.
