What does the inscription beneath the statue of Mary in the circle outside Hickey Dining Hall refer to? That's exactly what is reads. It's an older script "3" that's obscured by the crack in the stone. |

Ok that makes complete sense. What an incredible building lost in that great fire. Just imagine the majesty of seeing that building on our great campus today. Just as tragic was the loss of many of the old university records - irreplaceable. |
