With that said, Bona in all likelihood has already played its two toughest OOC opponents and its strength of schedule is bound to fall as the Canisius, Niagara and a couple of other games are recorded, but it's still interesting to look at the numbers. Well thank goodness we have Gannon to raise it back up after those 2.

Gannon has played Indiana on the road and Bowie State (non-DI so it has no effect on their SOS)
Gannon's SOS higher than VCU's???

That is Indiana University of Pennsylvania former home of former Giants coach Ben McAdoo Edit - my bad they play both Indianas this year.

Not around the A10 but Ohio is playing 24th ranked Baylor in the Myrtle Beach Invitational on ESPN 2 right now. They mentioned how their point guard Preston has the second highest ppg rise in the NCAA as a Sophomore (+11ppg). Also wasn't aware Vander Plas was the MAC Freshman over the year last year. Commentators said the Bobcats beat us and called the RC a very hostile environment.

Yikes. I read it again. Fair. We are done with what I think is the toughest part of our OOC schedule. Actually for a young team front loading the schedule with hardest opponents is open to critique but I don’t think that is fair. The only question is does the schedule create a feasible path to an at large bid. This schedule does not. Correct but losing to Ohio and Siena took care of it anyway. Maybe if we beat a P5 on the road we’d have a chance to make up those loses? Instead it’s Gannon.

Lamenting? This started from a guy trying to tout our SOS by cherry-picking the three toughest games on it.

Yeah Great, it’s cool when we give our team an opportunity. We owe them more...they are only the best group of soph/freshman we have had since when? (Honestly someone tell me) Its not good enough for the selection committee. That’s my problem. The complacency crew has rolled in. Time to move on.

In other news Hofstra beat UCLA by 10 at UCLA, should make for a good game at the Final Four Reunion.
