Dear Fellow Wagoneers,
As of 12/17/19, my name was placed on the national organ transplant waitlist. Therefore, I am officially "on the clock" for heart transplant with an average expected wait time approximately six months. When the time comes, I will place my faith and trust in the Lord and the good folks at Penn Medicine Philadelphia.
While I am awaiting the procedure, I have teamed up with the nonprofit Help Hope Live, based in Radnor, Pa., which assists transplant patients and families in fundraising for medical and transportation expenses not covered by Medicare or private insurance.
I wish to ask my fellow Bona board buddies for your help. All contributions are tax-deductible and every penny goes to Help Hope Live to defray anticipated post-op costs; in particular the immunosuppressant medications I must take for the rest of my life. To give you an idea what post-op care will be, I have 16 biopsies that must be done -- all in Philly -- in addition to regular checkup visits. I live about 70 miles (90 min by car or Amtrak) to the hospital.
My personal webpage has my campaign story, family photos, a guestbook, and a donation link.
To access, pls visit helphopelive.org, and in the "Find a Campaign" section type in my name, Gregory Hal Wright. It will connect you to my page. Click on the friendly fellow you see with the Christmas tree behind him and you're there.
My family and I would be so appreciative and grateful for any support you can offer. And be sure to tell a friend through your social media contacts...perhaps they too would like to participate in my campaign.
Thank you for your friendship and support. If you have any questions, visit helphopelive.org, 800-642-8399. My sincere thanks to elitetaylor33 and Tom Gleason for their permission.
Sincerely,
Gregory H. Wright
